Has this happened to anyone else?

Has this happened to anyone else?
I had an interview yesterday for 1.5 hours. They asked me to role play how I would address a customer, which seems fine, but then they asked me who is my role model? What books do I read? Who do I want to imitate? I answered each question in professional manner. Why do they ask questions like this? Then they asked, "What do you think of being part of a team?" Is anyone interviewing going to say something negative if they want the job? I would think questions like "how would you improve profits in the next 90 days" or something along those lines would be more appropriate?

They are tying to look for
any inconsistencies in your responses and answers. These questions are all obviously tied to their culture and how they define a succesful employee in their environment. If you answer the questions honestly and in a fashion they are looking for, then you should anticipate a positive response, unless there is an unforseen variable that exists or surfaces
